Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's San Ramon Regional Medical Center seeks an HR professional to support management and staff on employee issues, using clear communication and policy interpretation. You will help administer HR programs, with a focus on employee relations and compliance to best practices.

The role reports to the HR Manager, offering opportunities for professional development and involvement in hospital-wide HR initiatives. Full-time, daytime hours in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years recent HR experience; excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Office and HRIS/Oracle.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist management and employees on HR issues through communication and policy interpretation.
• Manage assigned HR programs; advise managers on regulations and best practices; perform special HR projects.

Reporting HR Manager, this position is responsible for advising and assisting management and employees on employee issues and concerns through communication, interpreting, and recommending appropriate use of human resources policies and procedures, services and programs offered by the facility; manages assigned programs, assist with the employee relations issues; advises managers and supervisors on regulations, policies and effective HR practice; performs special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field

Minimum Experience/Skills:

• Minimum of three (3) years recent experience in Human Resources required;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems, ORACLE supported applications.

Licenses/Certificates/Credentials

• Preferred: SHRM-CP or PHR, or equivalent HR certification
