Berkshire County Arc, Inc. in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions in-office. The role interacts with applicants, employees and managers, requiring strong customer service, organizational and follow-up skills.

Ideal candidates will have multi-year office-based customer service experience, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. A High School diploma is required; an associate’s degree is preferred.

This position is in the office FT, non-remote

We are seeking a motivated and organized Human Resources Generalist to join our amazing incredible HR team. You will support a wide range of HR functions.

This position interacts with all applicants, employees, and managers. As this is a key position in our agency, strong customer service , organizational and follow-up skills are required. We are looking for someone who works well in a busy environment, can multi-task, has a strong work ethic and who truly cares about helping people.

Requirements

• Multi-year experience with Customer Service in an office setting.
• Self-starter with strong organizational/follow-up skills.
• Great communication skills-both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize responsibilities.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• High School required, associate’s degree preferred.
• Human Resources experience is strongly preferred.
• HRIS experience is a plus.
