Nucor Corporation in Fort Payne, AL is seeking an HR Generalist to provide guided HR support and contribute to a positive teammate experience. You will administer payroll, benefits enrollment, onboarding, and LOA processes while upholding safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll and payroll taxes
• Support benefits administration and enrollment activities
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
• Support FMLA and Leave of Absence (LOA) administration
• Support teammate engagement initiatives and programs
• Assist with HR audits, compliance activities, and reporting requirements
• Support HR projects and other departmental initiatives as needed

Basic Job Functions
