Job summary

CFS in Fort Atkinson, WI is seeking an HR professional to oversee full-cycle biweekly payroll for 105+ employees, manage benefits and HR policies, and handle onboarding and engagement initiatives.

You will be the main contact for payroll questions, support leave administration (FMLA), and collaborate with carriers and HRIS systems. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3-4 days onsite and some remote work, plus a $60,000–$75,000 base salary and discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of HR experience required; internship experience considered for entry level.
• Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS systems preferred.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Process full-cycle biweekly payroll for 105+ employees through Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, HR policies, and general HR needs.
• Partner with benefits carriers, manage benefits enrollments, and assist with employee leave administration including FMLA.
• Coordinate onboarding, new hire orientation, exit interviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate sourcing, offer creation, and partnering with hiring managers.
