Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center is looking for an HR Generalist to provide exceptional service to internal and external customers visiting the HR department. You will coordinate site-based new hire orientation, ensure timely HR transactions, and collaborate with department presenters to keep orientation on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant HR experience; bachelor's degree preferred; SHRM certification preferred.
• 7+ years of work experience in lieu of degree, including at least 4 years in a professional HR environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and coordinates site-based new hire orientation (Lift Off!), ensuring a positive new employee experience.
• Acts as a resource for the HR Admin Coordinator to ensure all HR transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner; supports retention efforts.
• Ensures completion of all mandatory forms by new hires and maintains communication with other departments to ensure orientation runs on schedule.
• Communicates with HR partners regarding new hire needs (I-9, direct deposit, scheduling).
• Assists HRBPs with HR initiatives and projects (focus groups, training) collaboratively.
• Provides primary business partner support to assigned departments under Sr. HRBP supervision; assists with investigations and corrective action documentation.
• Pulls data/queries and conducts initial analysis to identify trends under leadership guidance; participates in special projects.

Job description

The HR Generalist is a member of the Levindale Human Resources team at LifeBridge Health. Provides exceptional service to internal and external customers visiting the HR department at Levindale Hospital.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitates and coordinates site based new hire orientation (Lift Off!), ensuring a positive new employee experience.
• Acts as a resource for the HR Admin Coordinator to ensure all HR transactions are completing in a timely and accurate bases; processes; participates in delivery and support of HR retention efforts.
• Ensures completion of all mandatory forms by all new hires; utilizes efficiency strategies to ensure program runs on schedule and identified needs are met. Maintains working relationships with other departments and presenters to ensure open communication for completion of orientation.
• Communicates with HR partners if a new hire need arises (I9 completion, direct deposit, scheduling, etc.).
• Assists all HRBPs with HR initiatives and projects as assigned (focus groups, training, etc.) in a collaborative manner.
• Provides primary business partner support to a small number of assigned departments/client groups, under the supervision of Sr. HRBP. Assists managers of those departments with corrective action (investigations through corrective action documentation).
• Ability to pull data/queries, conduct initial analysis to determine possible trends under the guidance of your leader or an HRBP.
• Works on special projects; performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience required; bachelor's degree preferred; SHRM certification preferred
• Will consider 7+ years of work experience (in lieu of a degree), which should include a minimum of 4 years in a professional HR environment

Pay Range: $29.86 to $44.79, based on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
