Job summary

Target Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Expert to support store teams with talent strategies, scheduling, and compliance while delivering an easy and inspiring guest experience. You will assist in recruiting, training, and day-to-day HR processes to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming store environment.

The role requires flexibility for peak times, strong communication, and teamwork, with a focus on guest satisfaction and compliant, people-centric practices across the store.

Qualifications

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests, assist, and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you and ensure smooth operations across store areas.
• Support scheduling, training, and payroll processes in coordination with HR leadership to meet staffing needs.
• Lead recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates and contribute to a positive working environment.
