  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, Title VII, etc.).
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.

Full-Time | Human Resources Team

Support a Fair, Respectful, and Compliant Workplace

May Institute is looking for an experienced Employee Relations & Compliance Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you’ll lead investigations, guide managers and employees through workplace concerns, and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies. This is a key position for someone who values integrity, confidentiality, and meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead fair, thorough investigations into employee concerns and allegations of employee misconduct
  • Advise managers and staff on investigation outcomes and next step
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all investigations and employee relations matters including notes and reports
  • Identify trends arising from investigations and recommend solutions to promote a positive work culture

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or commensurate experience
  • 3–5 years’ experience in employee relations or workplace investigations
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (ADA, FMLA, Title VII, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
