Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager in Maryland to act as a trusted advisor to leaders and affiliated organizations. The role focuses on employee relations, investigations, performance management, employment law compliance, training, and HR consulting.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in office, offering the chance to impact HR programs across the organization and partner with leaders on recruiting and workforce matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience with a strong employee relations focus.
• Experience conducting investigations and delivering HR training.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and conflict resolution.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on employee relations, performance, and workplace concerns.
• Conduct investigations and ensure HR policy compliance.
• Support disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
• Provide guidance on federal and state employment laws.
• Deliver HR training and orientation programs.
• Partner with leaders on recruiting and workforce matters.
