Job summary

Litchford Falls Health & Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations. You will ensure staffing levels, compliance, and smooth HR operations across the center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in Human Resources or related field.
• Understanding of labor laws and best practices.
• Ability to coordinate people and resources.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment to hire top candidates for each role.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation; maintain employment records.
• Manage bi-weekly payroll and ensure accurate timecards.
• Support staff and answer HR-related questions (benefits, policies).
• Prepare schedules and maintain staffing ratios.
• Ensure scheduling system reflects current staffing.
• Coordinate time-off requests for coverage of units.
• Develop rapport with other departments.
