Job summary

Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead the facility’s HR operations. The role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, training, and retention within a supportive healthcare environment.

You will partner with leadership to build a strong employee experience, foster positive workplace culture, and drive engagement, retention, and development across teams in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care HR experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and employee relations.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts for staff.
• Partner with leaders to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Coordinate new-hire orientation and smooth onboarding experience.
• Manage employee relations, coaching, investigations, and workplace concerns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR policies.
• Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and leave management.
• Maintain HRIS records and personnel files; ensure data accuracy.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, retention, and professional development.
• Assist leadership with workforce and succession planning, training, and education.
