Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp seeks a reporting analyst for the Human Resources Reporting & Analytics team. The role focuses on delivering timely HR data insights, building dashboards, and supporting leadership with accurate, compliant reports.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and business units, translating stakeholder questions into technical specifications and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems like Oracle HCM and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Data Science, or related discipline with 4 years of related experience in reporting or data analysis.
• In lieu of a degree, 6 years of related experience is required.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle OTBI, BI Publisher).
• Ability to gather requirements and translate to technical specs.
• Designs and develops reports and dashboards with moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Respond to one-time and urgent data requests from HR, Finance, and leadership teams.
• Extract, clean, and analyze data from various systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, Power BI, Excel).
• Deliver clear, accurate, and timely reports tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Develop dashboards and scheduled reports for leaders across HR and Business Units.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance in all reports.
