Job summary

Tawa Group dba 99 Ranch Market is seeking an HR Coordinator to support warehouse and retail HR operations from Brooklyn, NY. The role collaborates with distribution centers and East Coast store teams to drive workforce planning, onboarding, and employee relations.

Responsibilities include recruitment coordination, onboarding, status changes, investigations, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. Some travel to warehouse locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel periodically to warehouse locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support recruitment for hourly and warehouse management positions.
• Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation.
• Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, coaching documentation, and corrective action administration.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR procedures.
• Coordinate required warehouse safety and compliance training.
• Support OSHA documentation and HR compliance audits.
• Conduct periodic HR audits for warehouse locations.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for routine employee inquiries and provide guidance on policies.
