Job summary

Vivo Healthcare University is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to lead the HR function in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment. The role oversees policy implementation, scheduling, payroll tasks, and regulatory compliance across all shifts.

You will maintain job descriptions, handle interviews, and generate management reports while protecting employee confidentiality. Strong English, MS Office, and prior SNF HR experience are preferred, with a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• 3 years scheduling experience; SNF setting preferred
• Proficient in English (reads/writes/speaks)
• Knowledge of employment laws and privacy act

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and directing HR activities
• Maintains job descriptions and performance evaluations
• Reviews requests for new or replacement personnel; arranges interviews
• Checks applications and references; coordinates interviews
• Maintains confidentiality of employee information
• Verifies right to work; maintains records
• Create and maintain staff schedules
• Track attendance and lateness
• Provide reports to management on staffing and hours
• Create/post monthly staff schedules
• Approve trades/changes in absence of DON
• Coordinate attendance policies with HR
• Provide timely reports to DON and management
