Job summary

Hilton Miami Beach is preparing for a December 2026 opening and seeks an HR Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, recordkeeping, and employee support across all South Florida properties. This pre-opening role will help build processes and HR programs from the ground up, coordinating with hiring managers, benefits teams, and HR leadership to ensure a smooth launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 1–2 years HR or recruiting experience preferred
• Hospitality experience highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience a plus
• Discretion in handling confidential information
• Bilingual in English & Spanish or Creole preferred
• Positive, proactive attitude with willingness to learn and grow in HR

Responsibilities

• Post job openings and assist with resume screening, supporting hiring managers by conducting screening interviews and scheduling interviews across properties
• Process new hire paperwork, background checks, and onboarding documentation
• Maintain accurate and organized personnel files and HR records across properties
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment questions and HR system navigation
• Support planning and execution of employee engagement events and recognition programs
• Assist with compliance tracking (training completions, certifications, etc.)
• Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager
• Support high-volume onboarding processing during the pre-opening hiring surge
• Support high-volume recruiting during the pre-opening hiring surge, including sourcing candidates, scheduling/conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers across all departments
• Assist with organizing new hire paperwork and orientation logistics ahead of opening
