Job summary

Ingram Content Group in LaVergne, TN is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support multiple HR functions, including staffing, benefits, HRIS, compensation and leaves of absence, reporting to the HR Manager.

The ideal candidate brings 2 years in HR or 3 years in administration, strong organizational skills, and a customer-service mindset, with an interest in process improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required.
  • 2 years' experience in an HR function OR 3 years' experience in an administrative function.

Responsibilities

  • Creates associates' files and ensures recordkeeping is aligned with Company and state and federal law.
  • Supports onboarding of new associates, including facilitation of new hire orientation and timely off-boarding.
  • Serves as a resource for benefit-related questions and partners with the corporate benefits team.
  • Coordinates annual open enrollment, biometrics, and wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinates administration of changes to associate records in the HRIS, PeopleSoft.
  • Responsible for FMLA, Workers' Compensation, STD, personal leaves, and UKG coding; acts as primary contact when appropriate.
  • Escalates complex associate relations issues to maintain consistent practices.
  • Liaises with Corporate partners and third-party administrator for Short Term Disability claims.
  • Assists HR Manager and HR Generalist in employee relations programs and program guidelines.
  • Responds promptly to customer needs and concerns; looks for process improvements.
  • Participates in HR changes implementation and monitors results.

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Human Resources Coordinator to contribute to our Manufacturingteam in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.

This individual will report to the HR Manager, providing general support and administration for several functions including staffing activities, benefits, HRIS, compensation, employee relations, and leaves of absence to include FMLA. The HR Coordinator will communicate with and answer routine questions from client group managers and associates based on knowledge of overall HR guidelines, policies and programs. In addition, they will manage multiple priorities, producing accurate work in a professional environment subject to frequent interruptions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, demonstrate strong detail orientation, have superior organizational skills and consistent follow-through along with curiosity about process improvement and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 2 years' experience in an HR function OR 3 years' experience in an administrative function

Preferred Skills:

  • MS Excel proficiency (able to create reporting, extract data, conduct V lookup)
  • Experience with HR systems (UKG, PeopleSoft, Smart Recruiters ATS, DocuSign)
  • Working knowledge of LOA process from beginning to end, including application of the FMLA, Disability insurance, and other federally mandated programs.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and solve problems
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to develop effective interpersonal working relationships across the business landscape

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a resource for benefit-related questions and partners with the corporate benefits team, as appropriate
  • Coordinates annual open enrollment process, biometrics, and wellness initiatives
  • Coordinates administration of all changes to associate records in the HRIS, Peoplesoft
  • Has responsibility for the coordination and record-keeping associated with FMLA, Workers Compensation, STD, personal leaves of absences, and UKG coding;serving as primary point of contact when appropriate.
  • Escalates complex associate relations issues to ensure company-wide practices remain consistent
  • Liaises with Corporate partners and third-party administrator for Short Term Disability claims
  • Assists the HR Manager and HR Generalist in promoting effective employee relations programs, both directly (through one-on-one contact with associates) and indirectly (through members of management team) using established program guidelines
  • Responds promptly to customer’s needs and concerns
  • Looks for opportunities to identify improvements to processes to gain efficiencies and enhance customer service
  • Participates in the implementation of approved process changes for the HR function and monitors/reports on results as required
  • Provides input and support for various HR initiatives

Hiring Salary Range:$22.17/hr-$27.48/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
