Job summary

Ingram Content Group in Lavergne, TN is seeking an Operations Team Lead to support essential operational and administrative activities in the department. You will lead hourly associates, oversee workflow, and serve as the leadership presence in the supervisor's absence.

The role emphasizes safety and process improvement while coordinating with distribution centers and other departments to meet deadlines and customer needs. Schedule: Mon–Fri 6a–3:30p; OT when required. Pay starts at $22.61/hr DOE.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with PC-based applications.
• 1 year work experience in a warehouse operations environment.
• 6 months' experience which includes physical activities such as walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping, bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing.

Responsibilities

• Trains and develops hourly associates.
• Acts as the department contact for all production systems issues and questions.
• Provides direction and leadership to associates.
• Identifies, communicates, and ensures all quality and productivity standards are met within the department.
• Research issues, problems, or concerns and recommends solutions.
• Meets customer requests, deadlines, commitments, and quality standards in a timely manner.
• Plans and coordinates work activities, overseeing hourly associates to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
• Coordinates with other departments on workflow activities.
• Assist in administering policy and payroll activities.

An Operations Team Lead supports all operational and administrative activities required to run an operating department of major production environment. Serves as the lead person overseeing department or activity workflow. Acts as in leadership capacity in absence of the Supervisor.
