Job summary

Second Nature Brands in Michigan is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This role will split time between our Madison Heights and Clinton Township facilities, assisting with employee relations, payroll, benefits, and HR reporting.

The ideal candidate has HR experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and HRIS (ADP preferred). You will help maintain a great workplace and ensure compliant HR processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems, preferably ADP.
• Ability to be versatile, creative, and resourceful.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude and a passion for creating a great workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative Human Resources support for employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, engagement, and other duties.
• Coordinate various Human Resources related functions including meetings, interviews, employee events, and celebrations.
• Assist with talent acquisition by screening candidates, production floor tours, scheduling orientations/training sessions, and processing background checks.
• Generate and prepare Human Resources reporting and documentation.
• Coordinate and design messaging and postings using PowerPoint and similar.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing.
