Job summary

Care with Dignity at Home in Stafford, VA, seeks an HR Coordinator / Home Care Scheduler to recruit, onboard, and support caregivers (PCA, CNA, HHA) ensuring compliance and quality care. You will build a strong pipeline, coordinate interviews, and manage onboarding processes for new hires.

You will also maintain records, run training tracking, and partner with leadership to enhance employee engagement and retention while representing the company in community outreach and job fairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, preferably in healthcare or home care.
• Knowledge of caregiver roles (PCA, CNA, HHA).
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and job platforms.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet hiring goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caregiver files meet state and company requirements.
• Track annual training requirements (e.g., PCA 12-hour in-service).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Build relationships with caregivers to improve retention.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and communication.

Position Summary

The HR Coordinator / Home Care Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding qualified caregivers (PCA, CNA, HHA) to support agency growth and client care needs. This role focuses on building a strong caregiver pipeline while ensuring all hires meet compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified caregivers
• Post and manage job listings across platforms (Indeed, Care.com, social media, etc.)
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and community outreach
• Screen applicants via phone and in-person interviews
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates

Hiring & Onboarding

• Coordinate interviews and hiring decisions with leadership
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings
