Job summary

Wooded Glen Recovery Center in Henryville, Indiana is seeking an Human Resources Coordinator to serve as the primary HR partner for the facility. You will collaborate with Regional HR and lead HR services including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and analytics to support business objectives.

The role emphasizes workforce planning, leadership development, and a positive employee experience within a behavioral health setting. Experience with HRIS and Workday is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three+ years in progressive HR roles including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding or HR operations.
• Healthcare experience preferred; behavioral health experience is a plus.
• Experience using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office; Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment plans, post openings, coordinate interviews and track activity.
• Support onboarding, pre-employment screening, offer letters, and candidate communications.
• Assist with employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
• Support leaders with HR policy interpretation, onboarding, and leadership development activities.
• Help with workforce planning, HR metrics, turnover trends, and reporting.
• Maintain HR records, documentation, and compliance-related activities.
• Coordinate HR administrative processes with Corporate HR and facility leadership.
• Support payroll, benefits, and leave administration as needed.
