Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited school in clinical, psychology or social service-related field.
• Three or more years’ experience post-obtaining Master’s degree working with the population of the facility.
• Licensed or certified addiction counselor/professional counselor/social worker/psychologist or therapist that is state-issued and valid and current.

Responsibilities

• Review progress, quality, and effectiveness of clinical programs via live observations and chart audits.
• Implement and monitor the clinical unit program schedule.
• Provide guidance to direct care staff to ensure treatment plans and clinical needs are met.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and contingency staffing plans.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory standards and quality expectations.
• Serve as subject matter expert on clinical documentation standards.
• Maintain awareness of community and market-related activities affecting mental health services.
