- Assist employees with benefit enrollment, qualifying life events, and open enrollment communications
- Help interpret and explain HR policies and procedures
- Support internal communications related to engagement, policy updates, and organizational events
Onboarding & Records Management- Verify completion of new hire paperwork and ensure compliance with onboarding requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation in the HRIS
- Complete employment verifications and support leave administration processes
Employee Engagement & Programs- Administer engagement programs such as employee recognition, birthdays, anniversaries, and wellness initiatives
HR Operations & Compliance- Conduct bi-weekly timecard audits and follow up on discrepancies
- Assist with HR audits (e.g., file audits, I-9 compliance, and policy checklists)
- Monitor HR inboxes and route inquiries appropriately
- Help maintain current HR documentation, policies, and templates
- Assist with HR reporting, data tracking, and special projects as needed
Recruiting & Hiring Support- Assist with recruiting efforts by conducting initial phone screens and coordinating interviews
- Help ensure a smooth candidate experience by supporting communication and scheduling logistics
Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience in an HR support, HR assistant, or related role
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and customer service mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to think critically and independently to resolve issues using known facts and standard procedures
- Familiarity with benefits, payroll basics, and HR systems
- Experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems preferred (e.g., ADP, Paycom, UKG, etc.)
