Job description

Overview

Responsibilities

This position provides comprehensive HR support for Frito-Lay’s Williamsport, PA location and administrative support for the Supply Chain HR Team. Responsibilities include supporting managers and employees with HR systems and tools, maintaining HR files, responding to inquiries on policies, performance management, compensation, benefits, and payroll; providing reporting and analytics; and leading compliance processes. The role supports approximately 200 frontline employees and managers, collaborating with cross-functional partners such as payroll, safety, talent acquisition, and HR operations.

  1. Provide excellent employee support, addressing questions and concerns.
  2. Assist employees and managers with HR transactions and processes.
  3. Support the Service Operations HR team with reporting, leave administration, and other processes.
  4. Act as liaison between employees and third-party service providers.
  5. Maintain electronic and paper HR records.
  6. Manage HR SAP system, including hourly rates, job changes, and data accuracy.
  7. Track discipline data and maintain employee files.
  8. Coordinate benefits meetings and act as liaison with Fidelity.
  9. Oversee the job bidding process and hourly onboarding procedures.
  10. Maintain I-9s and self-identification forms for audits.
  11. Manage labor law postings and HR information on site displays.
  12. Coordinate employee events and engagement activities.
  13. Prepare templates and paperwork for new salaried employees.
  14. Manage employee data tracking systems.
  15. Handle unemployment claims and process invoices as needed.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $45,000 - $71,800, depending on skills, experience, and education.
  • Includes paid time off, parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution a plus.
  • Flexibility to work nonstandard hours.
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Approachable, helpful, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
