One Senior Care Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative support to our HR team. You will help with recruiting, interview scheduling, offers, candidate communication, and HR projects.

This role reports to the Director of Employee Engagement and Retention and requires organization, dependability, and ability to handle multiple priorities. Hybrid work location, full-time hourly, occasional regional travel, and a benefits package are offered to support your

Job Summary:

As an HR Coordinator, you’ll provide administrative and coordination support to our HR Business Partners and HR leadership team. You’ll help with recruiting, interview scheduling, offer letters, candidate communication, employee engagement activities, documentation, reporting, and HR projects. This position reports to the Director of Employee Engagement and Retention.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting several priorities at once. You’ll be part of a collaborative HR team that values communication, professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent service.

Work Location: Hybrid

Employment Status: Full-time, hourly

Travel: Limited regional travel may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Prepare and route offer letters using approved templates and compensation information
  • Track candidate progress, offers, start dates, and pending hiring steps
  • Help coordinate interview days, job fairs, college career days, and other recruiting events
  • Research and maintain information about job boards, community partners, schools, career fairs, and other recruiting resources
  • Assist with recruiting frontline team members when needed
  • Coordinate HR meetings, documents, trackers, action items, and follow-up reminders
  • Help coordinate engagement surveys, employee recognition programs, stay interviews, and exit interviews
  • Maintain organized HR templates, SharePoint resources, and workflow documents
  • Help manage leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, Paid Parental Leave, and unpaid leaves of absence
  • Maintain leave files and complete related weekly timecards
  • Help manage workers’ compensation files, claims, and weekly timecards
  • Complete employee verification forms
  • Track unemployment claims, reports, and trends
  • Protect the confidentiality of employee medical and personal information
  • Track policy acknowledgments, documentation requests, compliance items, and deadlines
  • Assist with employee file audits and documentation collection
  • Prepare routine reports and support ongoing workflow improvements
  • Complete and distribute the monthly eNPS report
  • Track and send monthly birthday and anniversary EllaCards

Education and Experience:

  • Familiarity with office procedures and Microsoft Office programs
  • Previous experience with HR systems preferred
  • At least one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population
Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of participant, employee, and organizational information
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle
  • Successful completion of required background checks and healthcare program clearances
  • Disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest during the hiring process
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access different departments within assigned locations
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required for training or temporary coverage at another center
