Job summary

Beacon Hill is partnering with a growing nonprofit in the South Bronx, NY to fill a Temp-to-Perm HR Consultant role. This position will serve as the primary HR resource, supporting benefits administration, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and policy development during a critical growth period.

The role also involves HRIS selection and implementation, and workforce processes across a mixed population of full-time and part-time employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• Experience in a small nonprofit or education environment.
• Experience with benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee benefit programs.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting, background checks, and onboarding compliance.
• Experience supporting employee relations investigations, performance management processes, and policy administration.
• Experience leading HRIS selection, implementation, or optimization initiatives (preferred).

• Serve as the organization's primary HR resource.
• Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
• Manage recruiting, background checks, and onboarding compliance.
• Handle employee relations investigations and performance management processes.
• Develop and enforce HR policies and compliance.
