Job summary

Hearts & Hands of Care, Inc. is seeking an HR Specialist / Compliance to oversee, track, and ensure regulatory compliance across staff and group homes. The role reports to the CEO, HR Manager, and Program Coordinator/Manager and works within the HR department to manage compliance processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality standards. Experience with Relias and DocuSign is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in employee compliance or related activities.
• Experience with compliance tracking, licensing, or credentialing preferred.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage all compliance-related requirements for 500+ staff and group homes.
• Send out manual compliance reminders via email and text for expiring certifications, licenses, and required training.
• Coordinate and assign training through Relias and/or DocuSign platforms.
• Conduct regular audits of employee files and program records for regulatory compliance.
• Identify compliance gaps and report findings to leadership.
• Communicate compliance requirements clearly to staff and leadership.
