Fastenal Co. in Winona, MN is hiring a full-time HR Compliance Specialist to assist hiring managers with HR functions and ensure compliance with EEOC/AA requirements. You will screen applicants, conduct phone interviews, post openings, and maintain compliance across U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments and leadership, with a focus on continuous learning and process improvement within a growing corporate HR team.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Education related to Human Resources, Business, Communications OR admin/customer service experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer-service oriented.
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Screening applications and conducting phone interviews with candidates in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
• Posting company-wide job openings on the internal job board and public website.
• Maintaining our applicant tracking system and performing data entry.
• Assisting hiring managers company-wide.
• Monitoring and evaluating compliance with state and federal laws.
• Assisting with developing required affirmative action plans.
• Assisting with maintaining our careers platforms to improve recruiting activities.
