The HR Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting various functions to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory agencies and internal programs, policies, and procedures.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Ongoing auditing of files, reports, policies, procedures, and documents to identify and improve the compliance posture of the organization and adherence to standards
  • Assist with reviewing, monitoring, and implementing recommended changes to HR policies and procedures, coworker handbook, postings, and other manuals or documents to ensure or improve upon compliance
  • Collaborate with other functional areas such as HR Shared Services and HR Business Partners in the monitoring, delivery, and communication of compliance initiatives, standards, and programs
  • Discreetly handle sensitive reports or information
  • Assist with implementing recommended changes to HR systems, policies, procedures, practices, etc.
  • Proactively stay abreast of all coworker-related legislative and regulatory changes and/or developments
  • Develop procedures and workflows to meet compliance documentation standards
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's Degree - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years Human Resources - Required
  • 5 years Healthcare and HR Compliance - Required
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - Human Resources Certification Institute - Preferred
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - Society for Human Resource Management - Preferred
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) - Society for Human Resource Management - Preferred
