Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Internship, work, or academic experience in HR, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or related area.
• Experience coordinating events, projects, or recruiting activities.
• Familiarity with an applicant tracking system or HR system, such as SuccessFactors.
• Experience working with universities, student organizations, or early-career recruiting programs.

Responsibilities

• Complete full-cycle recruitment for Kenworth's summer internship program.
• Attend career fairs, campus events, information sessions, and other university recruiting activities.
• Leverage Handshake for candidate engagement and employer branding.
• Support engagement activities beyond traditional career fairs including hackathons and tours.
• Post positions, review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate next steps with recruiters.
• Proactively source passive candidates for difficult-to-fill positions using LinkedIn.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate interview details with candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain recruiting trackers, reports, and records of open positions.
• Help with employer-branding efforts to raise awareness of opportunities.
