Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. seeks a People Business Partner to align business objectives with people solutions within assigned client groups. You will deliver strategic and tactical HR support and programs to the organization, typically supporting entry-level through director-level roles.

Under general supervision, you will work with internal and external partners to respond to business and employee needs, guiding risk mitigation and workforce planning within the Transportation/Logistics function.

Qualifications

• 2 years HR Generalist/HRBP/HR Compliance across multiple HR functions
• 18 months HR Generalist experience plus 6 months in transportation/logistics
• Demonstrated abilities in communication, time management, and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Mitigate risk and ensure compliance on structure, workforce planning, and changes
• Collaborate with management to improve relationships, morale, productivity, retention
• Investigate employee relations issues and partner with Legal as needed
• Maintain knowledge of employment laws to reduce risk and escalate when needed
• Advise on annual programs: Open Enrollment, policy renewals, M&A, etc.
• Develop resources, guides, and SOPs to support business needs
