Xentral ERP Software is seeking an HR Business Partner who will connect people and business in a remote, Europe-wide setup. The role combines strategic partner work with hands-on projects, focusing on performance, development, and employment law while collaborating with a small HR team to scale processes.

The position emphasizes modern HR topics, agile approaches, and a data-driven mindset to enhance the Employee Experience across its multinational organization.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years HR experience in scale-ups, B2B or e‑commerce.
• Solid knowledge of German employment law.
• Experience leading onboarding concepts or feedback tools from idea to implementation.
• Independent work in a remote setup with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to collaborate with Senior Leads and cross‑functional teams.

As an HR Business Partner, you connect people and business and are the first point of contact for our leads on all People topics, from performance and development to employment law and leadership. As we are a scale-up with a small HR team, you think strategically, pitch in on operational tasks and share your knowledge with the team.

We approach People work in a progressive way, consistently rely on automation and work in an agile manner. That is why your tasks are divided as follows: Half (50%) is strategic HR Business Partner work with the heads of departments, and the other half is project work and other areas where you are needed.

Your tasks:

• You are a sparring partner for our (Senior) Leads and support them in successfully shaping and developing their teams
• You are responsible for performance management and feedback cycles, including PIPs, promotions and offboardings
• You are the first point of contact for employment law questions and find solution-oriented approaches to People topics that fit our values
• You identify opportunities for improvement in People & Organization and drive strategic projects such as our Pulse Checks end-to-end, including regular HR reports and concrete recommendations for management
• You are passionate about modern People topics such as agile HR, Employee Experience and Org Design and are not afraid to try new approaches
• You take on operational tasks such as applying for A1 certificates or creating employment references, and, where needed, run your own recruiting processes together with our Talent Acquisition team

Your profile:

• You bring 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably in a scale-up, B2B or e-commerce environment, and have solid knowledge of German employment law
• You have independently accompanied HR projects such as onboarding concepts or feedback tools from idea to implementation and enjoy optimizing processes
• You enjoy bringing structure to new topics, work independently in a remote setup and make decisions based on data and facts
• You have a good feel for people and team dynamics, address tensions early and openly, and clearly represent your position, including towards Senior Leads
• You enjoy working in a team with flat hierarchies, where we grow together with each other and with the company to create the best possible Employee Experience
