Job summary

Travelers in Hartford, CT seeks an HR Manager to partner with the Claim Delivery, Analytics & Technology organization. You will lead talent planning, employee relations and performance management across a 400+ person engineering group, delivering data-driven HR initiatives and organizational design support.

Responsibilities include enabling talent pipelines, coaching leaders, and aligning compensation with the company philosophy while ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Typically five or more years of HR experience, generalist background preferred.
• College degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective partnerships with business leaders through consultation on HR strategy and operations.
• Identify and analyze workforce analytics such as turnover, talent and hiring trends; develop action plans.
• Consult with leadership on organization effectiveness, including org design, leadership development, workflow efficiencies, and culture change.
• Ensure HR strategies and initiatives are necessary, cost effective and aligned with business goals; execute HR plan with customer group.
• Provide advice on employee relations issues and collaborate to resolve issues while ensuring policy compliance.
