Job summary

Magna Electronics seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to align people strategies with engineering program priorities across U.S. centers. You will coach leaders, manage performance, and drive workforce planning in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.

You bring 5+ years HR experience, strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws, and expertise in Workday and talent processes. Travel up to 25% will be required, supporting Magna Electronics’ growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably supporting engineering, technology, automotive or technical client groups.
• Demonstrated success as an HR Business Partner in a matrixed, multi-site or complex organization.
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering Center leaders to translate priorities into aligned people and organization strategies.
• Provide day-to-day HR guidance and coaching to leaders and employees on performance and relations.
• Support workforce planning, headcount forecasting and organizational design.
• Lead talent processes including performance management, talent reviews and development planning.
• Collaborate with HR partners to deliver consistent programs across U.S. sites.
