Job Summary
The HR Business Partner leads and manages the people-related agenda at the internal client. They ensure the delivery of a proactive and customer-focused HR service across identified service lines. HR Business Partners provide effective support, guidance, and advice to managers and staff members. They help deliver strategic and operational people projects and initiatives that maximize performance and enable all employees to engage and contribute to the overall development of the WCHealth Network.
Responsibilities:
- Identify training needs and collaborate with Workforce Development.
- Assist with New Workforce Orientation.
- Monitor competencies to ensure compliance at hire and annually.
- Maintain relationships with contracted services agencies and providers, onboard staff, and manage system entries.
- Ensure evaluations at 90 days and annually are completed, and assign correct managers. Assist with any issues.
- Work with service lines to update and collect new Job Descriptions.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including introduction to HR, 30-day check-ins, and onboarding surveys.
- Collaborate with Compensation and Leadership to review and address any compensation issues.
- Work with HR POC for civil service needs, such as out-of-title requests.
- Contribute to workforce and succession planning, as well as service line restructuring plans.
- Develop partnerships between management and employees through HR initiatives.
- Conduct monthly meetings with each service line and provide detailed activity reports.
- Consult with management and provide guidance as needed.
- Refer employee relations issues to the appropriate team.
- Implement strategies to improve morale, workplace relationships, productivity, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with legal HR requirements, collaborating with the legal department when necessary.
- Interpret HR policies and handbooks for service line management.
- Support the ASKHR help box and PositionHelp box initiatives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience: Two to three years of Human Resources experience required.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
