Job Description:

Note:

Hybrid role based in Lexington, MA or near Covington, GA (Atlanta is around 40 miles away) preferred, but remote work is possible.

5 days on-site per month

Employee Relations Partner

We need a seasoned Employee Relations Partner with manufacturing experience or supporting 24/7 operations.

The Employee Relations Partner will serve as the central contact and subject matter expert for employee relation issues within assigned business units. Responsibilities include coaching managers on discipline, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment risk, ensuring consistent management of employee relations across the business.

How you will contribute:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Gather information and prepare documentation for employee relations issues, conduct workplace investigations, and work with legal counsel as needed.
  • Advise and coach management on employee conduct, performance issues, grievances, and document performance management activities.
  • Manage the interactive process under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Contribute to ER best practices, policy development, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Leave of Absence, Occupational Health, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams on employee relations matters.
DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS
Leadership
  • This is an individual contributor role but requires modeling leadership behaviors.
Decision-making and Autonomy
  • Advise on employee relations matters, consult with partners on complex issues, and interact with all organizational levels professionally.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree; HR Management qualification preferred; minimum 7 years HR/Employee Relations experience.
  • Experience with diverse employee environments, preferably in manufacturing or scientific industries.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict management, and diagnostic skills, with the ability to handle high-volume cases.
