What are we looking for in our HR Business Partner V?

Job Title: HR Business Partner V

Location: Remote (Open to all time zones)

Duration: Through December 31st, 2025 (Potential for Extension)

Pay Rate: $90 - $130 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a strong focus on employee relations (ER), performance management, and conflict resolution to join our team. This role requires a high level of autonomy and collaboration with HR teams, business leaders, and employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex ER cases, providing coaching, implementing data-driven HR strategies, and supporting leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide employee relations support, thought partnership, and coaching for employees and all levels of management.
  • Manage 50–60 ER cases at any given time, triaging and identifying solutions per company guidelines.
  • Lead performance management cases, helping to develop and execute improvement plans.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to highlight trends and develop proactive solutions.
  • Facilitate manager training sessions based on organizational needs and data insights.
  • Partner with HR colleagues, including HRBPs, Legal, Investigations, L&D, and HR Programs, to implement scalable HR solutions.
  • Balance risk management while considering employee, business, and company perspectives.
  • Support team and leadership development, assessing needs and implementing tailored HR strategies.
  • Participate in global HR strategy execution in collaboration with regional HR partners.
  • Promote and foster a culture of inclusion, onboarding new hires and driving collaborative relationships.
  • Actively support and facilitate complaint discussions, ensuring fair and effective resolution.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience in Employee Relations and/or HR Business Partner roles.
  • Experience managing 50–60 complex ER cases simultaneously.
  • Strong conflict resolution and performance management expertise.
  • Effective communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data-driven decision-making, using HR metrics to drive action.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong judgment and experience balancing risk and business needs.
  • Experience in matrix or global organizations and supporting various business functions (e.g., Technical, Sales, Marketing, etc.).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience using Salesforce or other case management systems.
  • PHR or SHRM certification.
  • BA/BS degree (preferred, but not required).

Top 3 Skills Needed:

  • Experience managing complex Employee Relations cases (especially performance management).
  • Ability to build collaborative and productive relationships across HR teams and leadership.
  • Strong data analysis skills, using insights to drive HR actions and decision-making.
