Job summary

RXO is a leading transportation solutions provider, seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to administer HR policies and programs for assigned sites. The role blends leadership with hands-on HR work, including employee relations, policy interpretation, and collaboration with business partners and field leaders.

This position offers hybrid work in Phoenix, AZ or Kansas City, MO, with onsite offices Monday-Thursday and remote Fridays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience or military experience.
• 3-5 years of HR experience in a sales, transportation, or equivalent environment.
• Experience with employee relations, policy administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and time-keeping systems.
• Experience with Microsoft O365.
• Monthly travel to business sites up to 25-30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sites and HR team to foster an open-door climate and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage employee relations matters and conduct workplace investigations with recommendations for action.
• Execute HR policies and strategic initiatives within the supported business line.
• Assist managers and employees with daily HR activities and compliance.
• Inform senior management of HR developments impacting operations.
• Develop and implement engagement programs and HR policy communications.
• Prepare reports for upper management and ensure policy compliance.

As the Human Resources Business Partner, atRXO you will administer HR policies and programs to assigned sites. You will put your leadership skills and years of experience to use by training and communicating with employees, balancing administrative tasks and strategic initiatives, and developing collaborative working relationships with business partners and field leaders.

Work Location & Schedule:

This position is based in either our Phoenix, AZ or Kansas City, MO office and follows a hybrid schedule, working onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays. This role will require monthly travel to business sites-up to 25-30% of the time.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Work closely with sites and the HR team to ensure an open-door climate exists, resulting in excellent customer service
• Manage employee relations matters and conduct workplace investigations, including conflict resolution, policy interpretation, fact-finding, documentation, and recommendations for appropriate corrective action
• Responsible for the tactical execution of HR policies and strategic initiatives within the supported line of business
• Assists managers and employees with day-to-day HR activities and compliance.
• Inform senior management and operations of internal and external HR developments that impact overall effectiveness
• Develop and implement programs or information regarding engagement, HR policies, procedures or information
• Compile reports andprovidethemtoupper management
• Ensure HR officeis in compliance withall corporate policies and directives

What you'll need to excel:

At a minimum,you'llneed:

• Bachelor's degree orequivalentrelatedworkormilitaryexperience
• 3-5 years of HR experience in a sales, transportation, or equivalent environment
• Experience in employee relations, policy and procedure administration, recruiting and staffing, HRIS and time-keeping systems
• Experience withMicrosoft O365
• Monthly travel to business sites-up to25-30% of the time
