Csat Solutions is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as the customer-facing partner to leadership and employees within the assigned business unit. This role provides expertise in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development, coordinating with HR specialty teams as needed to deliver high-quality HR services.

The role partners with business leaders to communicate HR policies, support performance management, and lead investigations with management collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources management, business management, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of Human Resources Generalist experience or equivalent.
  • Full-scope HR Generalist experience with emphasis on Employee Relations.
  • Familiarity with California Employment law preferred.

Job description

The Human Resources Business Partner acts as the customer-facing business partner to the leadership team and employee population of the assigned business unit and/or geographic area of responsibility. This role provides expertise and direct support in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. The HR Business Partner will be the primary point of contact to the assigned internal customer base for assistance with human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Business Partner will leverage other HR specialty-focused teams, as needed, to deliver high quality HR services, and help execute the organization’s overall HR strategy.

Essential Functions:

  • Partnerwith business unit management to communicate human resources policies, procedures, programs and laws.
  • Strategize and collaborate with other HR team members to support the needs of the assigned line of business. Proactively identify areas to enhance the organization.
  • Assist with the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Identify and effectively handle employee relations issues and organizational development issues.
  • Conduct internal investigations, respond to employee complaints in collaboration with site management, and provide a resolution plan to address employee complaints/concerns.
  • Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
  • Assist in conducting periodic surveys to measure employee satisfaction and employee engagement and partners with business unit leadership to develop responsive action plans to survey feedback.
  • Assist with the development and implementation, and provide ongoing support, for performance management processes for assigned business unit
  • Review the recommendations from management, assist and monitor the implementation of performance improvement plans and other corrective actions for under-performing employees.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of current HR related laws and practices, as well as internal policies/procedures, and provide suitable interpretation to management and employees.
  • Assist with HR-related education/training, communication, and awareness efforts. Support implementation and training for new HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
  • Monitor onboarding and orientation process while taking a leading role in welcoming new hires.
  • Provide assistance and back-up to other support teams as needed, including safety, security, payroll, talent acquisition, and L&D.
  • Cultivate a culture that emphasizes responsiveness, innovation, diversity and excellence.
  • Compile and submit reports from various database systems.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources management, business management, or related field and 5-7 years of Human Resources Generalist experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Full-scope HR Generalist experience. This position has a heavy emphasis in Employee Relations activities. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in working directly with employees and supervisors during investigations, providing recommendations, and problem-solving around employee issues.
  • Familiarity with California Employment law preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with management and employees at all levels.
  • Action-oriented, with ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handle adversity and frequent change, and balance workload and competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, without daily direction.
  • Ability to react to change quickly and effectively and manage additional essential tasks as assigned.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and ability to make formal presentations in front of large audiences as necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to learn and navigate a Human Resource Information System.
  • Ability to turn programmatic and operational concepts into employee training programs and facilitate training to diverse audiences.
  • Customer-service focus, and strong influencing skills.
  • Experience in administering human resources policies, programs, and practices, including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Occasional night and weekend work may be required.
