Job summary

Jobtailor in Bridgeview, IL seeks an experienced HR Benefits Administrator to manage comprehensive benefits programs and HR operations. You will serve as the primary benefits contact, handle enrollments, leaves, and open enrollment, and coordinate wellness and payroll data accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 3–6+ years of benefits experience, and preferably a PHR/SHRM-CP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3 - 6+ years HR experience focusing on benefits administration and HR operations
• Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs (FMLA and ADA)
• Demonstrated ability to manage recurring HR processes with accuracy and accountability
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, and voluntary benefits.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolution.
• Manage day-to-day benefits administration, enrollments, events, and terminations.
• Coordinate open enrollment activities and employee support.
• Audit benefit deductions and resolve carrier discrepancies with brokers and vendors.
• Support annual renewal activities through data gathering and implementation.
• Coordinate day-to-day administration of the wellness program, including vendor coordination and participation tracking.
• Administer and coordinate employee leave programs including FMLA, ADA, state/local leaves, STD/LTD, and workers’ comp tracking.
• Maintain leave records for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate leave requests, return-to-work processes, and required documentation.
• Administer onboarding and offboarding processes related to benefits and HR data changes.
• Support HRIS data accuracy and maintain employee records.
• Audit HR data, records, and compliance regularly.
• Process HR-related invoices and system updates.
• Coordinate temporary workforce assignments and timekeeping records.
• Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate data and deductions.
• Review payroll-related changes and inquiries.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and reporting.
