Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Human Resources professional to administer leave of absence programs and employee benefits. The role requires detail-oriented, confidential, customer-focused support and collaboration with internal and external partners.

The position offers growth into a benefits specialist role and requires 3–5 years of HR experience, with TN visa eligibility noted for immigration. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience managing leave cases (FMLA, ADA, disability, USERRA) and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer Leave Programs (80%): coordinate and administer leave cases, track documentation, determine eligibility, maintain confidential records, ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Administer Benefits Programs (20%): enrollments, changes, terminations, payroll processing, educate employees on plans, support open enrollment and communications.
• Serve as primary point of contact for benefits and leave questions; resolve enrollment, billing, and plan administration issues.
• Coordinate with carriers, payroll, internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate processing and reporting.
