Job summary

TVCCA - Thames Valley Council for Community Action, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR professional to process and monitor employee and agency benefits.

The role includes overseeing medical, retirement plans, FMLA, disabilities, workers’ comp, ADA, and leave time while managing the Applicant Tracking System and hiring process. In the absence of the Director of Benefits and Payroll, the HR professional will supervise the iBenefits functions and support the broader HR team in Norwich, CT.

Qualifications

• B.A. degree with 4 years related HR/benefits experience or an equivalent combination totaling eight years.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor proposals relating to Employee and Agency benefits.
• Oversee benefits such as Medical, Retirement Plans, FMLA, Disabilities, Workers’ Comp, ADA, vacation and sick time.
• Handle the Applicant Tracking System and hiring process.
