Job summary

MHC Healthcare in Marana, AZ seeks an HR Benefits Specialist to administer and manage employee benefit programs, leaves of absence, and Workers' Compensation. You will work with Payroll, vendors, and HRIS to ensure accurate deductions, enrollments, and compliance across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will have an HR-focused degree, 3+ years in HR/benefits, and strong communications and organizational skills, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business, healthcare admin, or related field.
• 3 years of progressive experience in HR, payroll, or benefits administration.
• Arizona driver's license with clean driving record and proof of vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Administers and maintains employee benefits programs and safety programs (medical, dental, vision, disability, life, EAP).
• Handles enrollment, reconciliation, and reporting for benefits; supports leaves of absence and workers' compensation.
• Researches and updates policies to comply with federal, state, and local requirements; creates and maintains reports and audits.
