Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a closely related field.
• Two years of professional-level HR experience.
• Additional education or training in the area of specialization may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex Employment functions for AP, CS, EH, Hourly, and Faculty categories using multiple systems.
• Complete pre-employment/onboarding processes and screening applications.
• Manage employee separation processes including exit interviews and payouts.
• Implement mass salary changes and conduct salary studies.
• Analyze duties and classifications, assist with salary studies and job audits.
• Counsel and advise on internal/external policies; ensure compliance with laws.
• Facilitate trainings on HR policies, job descriptions, and compensation processes.
• Develop narratives, reports, and statistics on benefits and staff demographics.
• Represent UIS HR in meetings at campus/UI system/state levels.
