Qualifications

  • Associates degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process; maintain and update job descriptions and employee handbooks.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner; support initiatives to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave of absence. Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues; coordinate with benefits providers and manage open enrollment periods.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations; maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including timekeeping and attendance; assist with audits and reporting as needed.
  • Training and Development: Support ongoing training and development initiatives for staff; track and manage training records and certifications.
  • General HR Support: Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed; maintain HR databases and prepare reports on HR metrics; collaborate with management to support facility goals and objectives.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems.
