Job summary

The LENOWISCO Health District seeks a wage Human Resource Assistant based at the Wise County Health Department. Performs technical HR support, including recruitment, orientation, data entry, records maintenance, and payroll/benefits support.

Provides guidance on routine HR matters (leave, benefits, recruitment) and may post recruitment ads. This is an hourly position with no state benefits, limited to 29 hours/week on average.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of HR programs, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to apply policies and procedures.
• Ability to prepare, process, track and file personnel records.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and staffing efforts.
• Support new employee orientation.
