Job summary

Port Corpus Christi Authority is seeking a dynamic HR professional to join our team. This role supports all facets of Human Resources including compensation, recruitment, compliance, policy implementation, performance management, talent management, employee relations, and reporting to assist department initiatives, while assisting the Director of Human Resources.

The ideal candidate will be organized, discreet, and professional, capable of managing multiple tasks and maintaining confidentiality,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain TWIC credential during employment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supports recruiting and hiring functions.
• Supports administration of talent management system modules.
• Assists in preparing Employee Action Notices.
• Provides administrative support and maintains confidentiality.
• Maintains HR webpages on the Port’s internal site.
• Enters requisitions for HR using the HRIS system.
• Supports sending new hire welcome and exit announcements.
• Tracks documents for temporary employees and events.
