Job summary

NABSD's Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) HR Team is seeking a candidate with recruiting experience to support NABSD's 20+ departments and Brigade of Midshipmen. The role may involve cross-training across other HR areas to build a strong foundation of NAF HR processes.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of specialized experience in a Recruiting role or related duties.
• Five (5) years of education beyond high school.
• Three (3) years of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists the HR Deputy Director and Director in delivering NAF HR policies, regulations and directives.
• Oversees recruitment and placement, and manages records administration, payroll, benefits, and performance management.
• Examines and answers complex employment inquiries and helps ensure deadlines are met across the hiring process.
• Performs staff training development, and prepares HR reports and data extracts.
• Supports employee and labor relations and provides guidance on HR procedures.
