Job summary

Serenity Home Health Care is seeking an organized HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team in Niles, IL. You will support recruitment, onboarding, employee records, compliance, and HR reporting, while coordinating with the Vice President of Human Resources on initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience, proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and ATS tools, and strong Excel skills. This role offers growth toward an HR Generalist position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years HR or administrative experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS.
• Familiar with AxisCare and ATS (Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever, Workday).
• Strong Excel and data reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee records management.
• Assist with compliance reporting and HR analytics.
• Coordinate onboarding sessions and new hire orientation.
• Assist with HR projects and daily HR operations.
