Job summary

Majors Plastics Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team in Omaha, Nebraska. This full-time, on-site role supports daily HR operations and requires strong confidentiality, organization, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have HR experience or a related degree, be comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to learn while supporting benefits, attendance, training, and HR records management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Two years of HR experience or a related degree preferred.
• Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, trust and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and troubleshoot a high volume of calls coming into the HR Department.
• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and applicants in the office reception area.
• Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping HR information confidential.
• Assist with administrative duties, including attendance/time clocks, benefits enrollment, training, and employment verifications; maintain HRMS records.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and documents used by HR.
• Support HR processes by scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, maintaining records, and completing other duties as assigned.
