Qualifications

Purpose: Responsible for coordinating and providing assistance to the Human Resources Director in carrying out all professional levels of planning to support the goals and objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all Administrative, Clinical, and Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Actively support the mission, philosophy, and goals for the hospital.
  • Communicate with sensitivity to growth, development, and cultural issues.
  • Prepare required documents for management to conduct the performance reviews of employees.
  • Conduct research for management.
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources in activities such as verification of previous employment, references, criminal history, licensing, and coordination of new employee orientation.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital mandatory training policies and applicant flow database.
  • Verify criminal background and previous employment references prior to offer.
  • Assist with the New Hire Employee Orientation, including scheduling, coordinating, and updating training reports and employee files.
  • Notify regulatory agencies of new employees and their status.
  • Maintain and develop new employee files, HR information system backups, and reports related to personnel activity, benefits, and training.
  • Maintain contracts and Physician Credentialing in accordance with JCAHO and licensing standards.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and support hospital culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
