Description du poste

Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Location: Market at East Broad Chick-fil-A (6240 East Broad Street; Columbus, OH 43213)

Reports To: Franchise Owner/Operator

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience and availability)

About Our Restaurant

We have been operating since 2009 and our vision is to pursue excellence and show care in all that we do. We are seeking an HR and Talent Coordinator who will join our leadership team and help select the future team members of our restaurant. Additional duties will be onboarding, conducting orientations, mentoring current employees and spearheading celebrating birthdays, anniversaries etc. for our team. There are additional administrative duties like ordering uniforms and keeping track of attendance records for the team.

Role Overview (Why This Role is Different)

This is not a corporate, desk-bound HR position based in an office. Instead, you will be in the heart of our restaurant, working side-by-side with our leadership team and team members. Your administrative time will be on a laptop in our dining room where you can enhance our guest experience by being another friendly face that they encounter. You are a critical partner in our daily operations who bridges the gap between administrative compliance and building relationships with our team. You will work closely with the Operations Director and Talent Director to provide the best possible experience for our team.

If you love being on your feet, having your day fly by, connecting with people, organizing detail-oriented systems, and seeing the direct impact of your hiring decisions on a local business, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities
1. Active Recruiting and Interviewing
  • Sourcing & Pipeline: Manage the end-to-end local hiring process using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to attract friendly, high-performing hospitality talent
  • Interviews: Conduct in-person interviews for front-of-house, back-of-house, and leadership applicants
  • Community Presence: Step out into the community to build active recruitment pipelines with local high schools, colleges, and community organizations
2. Onboarding & Orientation
  • First-Class Onboarding: Execute 100% of the onboarding paperwork, including I-9/E-Verify verification and payroll setup.
  • Cultural Orientation: Lead engaging, structured orientation sessions that teach new hires our story, core values, and hospitality standards.
  • Resource Management: Manage our team member uniform inventory, tracking distributions and ordering supplies to ensure our team always looks polished
  • Partner with the new team members for their first 30 days making sure they are set up to succeed as they continue.
3. Operational & Relationship Presence
  • To build genuine trust with the team and understand store needs, you will be scheduled for part of your time supporting daily restaurant operations. This could include being scheduled to help with catering or lunch/dinner rushes.
Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, hospitality, customer service, or administrative support

Detail Obsessed: Excellent organizational skills with a passion for systematic paperwork, checklists, and legal compliance

High Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to coach employees through conflict, listen actively, and build trust across a diverse workforce

Hospitality Mindset: A servant-hearted attitude-you are energized by supporting others and helping them succeed

Education: High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent real-world experience) is preferred

Flexibility: While there is some flexibility in scheduling, we are open from 6am-10pm Monday-Saturday so there are needs across different times of the day throughout the week.

What We Offer

Competitive Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour with opportunities for leadership development (pay will depend on experience and availability)

Never Work Sundays: A guaranteed day off every single week to spend with family and friends

Professional Development: Direct mentorship from the Franchise Operator and exposure to business operations

Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance subsidized, paid vacation, simple IRA match, free food while working

Self-Selection Disclaimer (Please Read Before Applying!)

This is a local, hands-on franchise position. If you are looking for a corporate executive role, a remote/hybrid schedule, or a job that keeps you at a desk 100% of the time, this role will not be a good fit for you. We are looking for an active, passionate team champion who is excited to walk the floor, meet candidates face-to-face, and help us run a world-class local restaurant!

Working at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are locally owned and operated by independent, franchised Operators who invest in the future of their Team Members and give back to their communities.
